Intake
Welcome to New Life Home
Residents are referred to New Life from CDR's or shorter-term programs. While at NLH, they undergo intensive counseling and self re-evaluation as part of individual treatment for up to one year.
Prospective clients are welcomed to NLH by both staff members and residents. Here they will find much love and caring in this safe and friendly haven.
Intake requirements include, but are not limited to the following:
- If needed, prospective clients must have gone
through detoxification.
- Clients cannot require medication that necessitates
administration by a nurse, nor can the client be pregnant.
- Prospective clients must be at least 18 years of age and
have proper identification.
House Regulations
House rules and expected standard for residents include, but are not limited to the following:
- During the initial two-week orientation, clients
are not permitted to leave the facility except
with a New Life appointed escort to attend A.A
meetings or other therapeutic group sessions.
- Clients are not permitted to have any visitation
from family or friends except for Friday & Sunday
regular visiting hours.
- Clients are required to spend a minimum of ten
hours per week in therapeutic activities.
- At the appropriate level of treatment, clients
are allowed to leave the facility for school, work,
job search, important business or other approved
reasons.
