New Life Home Joins the Sacred Heart Family of Services

MEMPHIS, MI - On December 1, 2007, Sacred Heart added New Life Home for Recovering Women to its growing continuum of services for addictive disorders and HIV/AIDS.

Located in Detroit, Michigan, New Life Home is a fully accredited residential program offering continuum care for women recovering from substance abuse. Guided by professional counselors, residents find new mental, physical and spiritual tools, fresh insight and awareness to help them face life with confidence.

New Life Home has provided services to more than 1,200 recovering women since opening in 1984. Today, NLH is the largest facility of its kind in Detroit.

Our goal is to help the women who are residents and clients to return to normal, productive lives by remaining clean and sober.

New Life Home provides:

  • A safe therapeutic living environment
  • Treatment services
  • Food & shelter (six months to one year based upon individual needs)
  • Counseling through use of Twelve Step Programs
